arithmetic

  1. A25: 56
  2. B24: 55
  3. C24: 53
  4. D25: 53
  5. E25: 54Correct

Answer: E. 25: 54

Explanation

Let total number of students in institutes A and B in 2012 respectively be $$7x$$ and $$15x$$ => Required ratio after corresponding increases = $$(7x \times \frac{125}{100}) : (15x \times \frac{126}{100})$$ = $$(7 \times 125) : (15 \times 126)$$ = $$25 : 54$$
