Seven friends A, B, C, D, E, F, and G like different fruits viz. Apricot, Avocado, Cherry, Dates, Guava, Lychee, and Mango and goes for shopping on different days of same week from Monday to Sunday, but not necessarily in the same order. (i)Four friends goes for shopping between the one who likes Mango and A, who does not go for shopping Tuesday. Only the one who likes Cherry go for shopping between F and D. The one who likes Dates go for shopping just after F. (ii) B does not go for shopping on Friday and Sunday and does not like Cherry. E go for shopping before B, but not just before. C likes Guava. The one who likes Lychee go for shopping on Wednesday. (iii) The one who likes Apricot does not go for shopping on Saturday. G does not go for shopping just after the one who likes Dates. D does not like Lychee. Solution:- From (i), we will have three cases: Case 1. If the one who likes Mango likes on Monday, A goes for shopping on Saturday. D and F go for shopping on Monday and Wednesday respectively. The one who likes Cherry and Dates go for shopping on Tuesday and Thursday respectively.
