If the total number of books sold on Monday is 750, then answer the following questions based on the given pie chart. Pie chart percentages (as stated in the source's own answer explanations): A: 20%, B: 22%, C: 14%, D: 18%, E: 26%. If on Tuesday the books sold by A increased by 15% from the previous day, then find by how much percent the books sold by A on Tuesday is more than the books sold by D on Monday?

Explanation

Calculation: Percentage of books sold by A on Monday = 20% = 750 x 20% = 150. Books sold by A on Tuesday = 150 x 115/100 = 172.5. Percentage of books sold by D on Monday = 18% = 750 x 18% = 135. Therefore, the required percentage = (172.5 - 135) x 100/135 = 27.78%.
