Interview

Prelims is qualifying in nature (marks not counted in final merit); Paper I decides the merit for Mains shortlisting. No negative marking in Prelims for the 2024 and earlier cycles; negative marking was introduced for the 2026 cycle. Mains total is 1400 marks; Interview/Personality Test is 175 marks.

Cutoffs are out of 200 marks (State Services GS Paper I, which decides the Mains shortlist; Paper II is qualifying). 2021 figures are the Part A (open) cutoffs. EWS reservation did not apply in the 2019-2020 cycles, hence null. Gaps: official category-wise figures for the 2023 and 2025 cycles were not found. Female, PwD and ex-serviceman sub-category cutoffs exist in the official PDFs but are not listed here.
