Interview

Prelims is objective with no negative marking; Paper II is qualifying (flat 33% threshold) and its marks are not included in the Prelims merit score. Mains Paper I (General Hindi and General English, 100 marks) is qualifying only (minimum 30 marks); Papers II-VI total 950 marks count toward merit. Interview is 100 marks. JPSC prescribes absolute minimum qualifying percentages (UR 40%, EBC 34%, BC 36.5%, SC/ST/Women 32%, Primitive Tribe 30%) separate from the competitive cutoffs below.

Cutoffs are out of 400 marks (Paper I + Paper II). 7th-10th CCE figures come from the official prelims cutoff PDF as reported by multiple sources (prelims held 2022). 11th CCE figures (prelims held Mar 17, 2024): sources agree on the numbers but one source labels them as '2023' - labelled here as the 2024 cycle. EBC = EBC-I (Annexure-I); BC-II = BC (Annexure-II). Gaps: category-wise prelims cutoffs for older JPSC cycles (6th CCE and earlier) were not found. JPSC also publishes primitive-tribe, sports-quota and PwD cutoffs, not listed here.
