Under Article 263, the President constitutes an Inter-State Council to resolve disputes in Centre-State relations. The Inter-State Council is empowered to investigate and advise on disputes arising between the States, to investigate and discuss matters of common interest to some or all of the States or the Center and one or more of the States.
