Explanation

On 13 April 1919, the Jallianwala Bagh massacre was a very heart-wrenching incident, in protest against which Rabindranath Tagore returned the title of knighthood given by the British government, in which 379 innocent people were killed by the British army. He said that "such mass murderers do not deserve to be given a title to anyone".
