The Comptroller and Auditor-General shall be appointed by the President by warrant under his hand and seal and shall hold office during the pleasure of the President. 2. The Comptroller and Auditor-General shall be the head of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department and shall be responsible to the President for the efficient performance of the duties pertaining to his office. 3.
