It was about the political representation of the Depressed Classes , which was a catch-all phrase for Dalits, Untouchables, and Scheduled Castes. The Poona Pact is a brief document that is written in a form that resembles law. Nine points were included in it, seven of which described how and how much the Depressed Classes would be represented in the national and provincial legislatures.
