  1. ARs.4,500
  2. BRs.2,500
  3. CRs.8,500Correct
  4. DRs.6,000

Answer: C. Rs.8,500

Explanation

Let the amount distributed among P, Q and R be 5x, 9x and 17x respectively Total shares of P and Q is 7,000 (given) i.e ⇒ 5x + 9x = 7,000 ⇒ 14x = 7,000 (or) x = 500 ∴ R's share = 17(500) = 8,500 Hence, option C is the correct answer.
