Given: sin A = 6/7 Concept: sin²A + cos²A = 1 and sec A = 1/cos A Calculation: ⇒ cos A = √(1 - sin² A) ⇒ √(1 - (6/7)²) = √(1 - 36/49) ⇒ √(13/49) = √(13)/7 ⇒ sec A = 1/cos A = 7/√(13) Hence, the value of sec A is 7/√(13).
