Answer: B. (b) 19.25 kmph

Explanation

24/(u−v) + 54/(u+v) = 6; 36/(u−v) + 48/(u+v) = 8; solving gives u−v = 5.5, u+v = 33; speed in still water = (33 + 5.5)/2 = 19.25 kmph
