Hydraulic breaks works on Pascal's law. Pascal's law– In a fluid at rest in a closed container, a pressure change in one part is transmitted without loss to every portion of the fluid and to the walls of the container. Pressure of a liquid– When a liquid is contained in a vessel, if exerts force at all points on the ends and bottom of the vessel. The force per unit area is called intensity of pressure. p = P/A Where, P = force acting on the liquid A = area on which the force acts.
