Network topology is a schematic description of a network arrangement, connecting various nodes(sender and receiver) through lines of connection. Common network topologies used in the computer network is as shown: Daisy chain is not commonly used because it increases the number of connections and therefore the number of devices, on a LAN. Also, each workstation and cable is a possible point of failure, meaning it is not best for a permanent network.
