A man invested Rs. 1600 on CI for two years at the rate of R% p.a. and gets amount of Rs. 2304. If man invested same sum on SI for same period of time at the rate of (R − 8)%, then find interest he will get?

ATQ – 2304 = 1600 (1 + 𝑅 100) 40 = (1 + 𝑅 100) R = 20% New rate = (20 −8) = 12% Required interest = 1600×12×2 = 384 𝑅𝑠.
