In the table, Discount . (as a percentage) is given on mark price of these five products by different sellers. Study the table and answer the following questions: Note: 1. Some values are missing. You have to calculate these values as per data given in the questions. 2. Mark price of a particular item is same for all of the shop owners. If the selling price of item II and item IV by seller M are in the ratio of 6 : 5. If the seller earned a profit of 20% which is Rs. 680 on item II and 25% on item IV then find the total profit (in Rs.) by selling item II and item IV together by the same seller?

Explanation

Let SP of item II = 600 SP of item IV = 500 CP of item II = 600 / 120 × 100 = 500 CP of item IV = 500 / 125 × 100 = 400 Profit on item II = 500 – 400 = 100 Profit on item IV = 600 – 500 = 100 100 → 680 1 → 6.8 So total profit = (200) → (200 × 6.8) = Rs.1360
