Data Interpretation

  1. A14%
  2. B21%
  3. C8.33%
  4. D35%
  5. E9.09%Correct

Answer: E. 9.09%

Explanation

Let mark price of item I = 100x Let mark price of item IV = 100y So 100x + 100y = 4600 x + y = 46 ……….. (i) And 82x – 85y = 98 ………... (ii) By solving (i) and (ii) we get y = 22 and x= 24 Therefore MP of item I = 2400 MP of item IV = 2200 Required % = (2400 – 2200 / 2200) × 100 = 9.09 %
