Explanation

Constitutional autonomy theory was enacted by the Government of India Act, 1935. This act was the most comprehensive act by the British Parliament. At the same time, it was the most complex document of Constitutional proposals prepared for India. In the same Act, the establishment of the Union of India, the federal judiciary, the division of powers between the center and the states were arranged.
