The State which is the 73rd Constitutional amendment is Madhya Pradesh. In this constitutional amendment provision was made for reservation of women in Panchayati Raj Institutions. Rajasthan implemented it for the first time in Nagaur district in 1959. But it was Madhya Pradesh to implement the 73rd Constitutional Amendment for the first time.
