ibps-so 2019 · Question 249 of 300

For the purpose of framing a uniform norm for the region, the department worked out a per-office figure for the lowest cadre. What is the average number of sub-staff employed per office, taking the five offices together?

  1. A372
  2. B376
  3. C380
  4. D384
  5. E388 Directions (Q79–Q83) : Seven officers drawn from seven different branches of a public sector bank sat down to a half-yearly recovery review in the board room of the Regional Office, and the record clerk noted their places about the round table before the proceedings opened. Study the following information with care and then answer the questions that have been framed upon it. Seven persons – Aniruddh, Bhairavi, Gyanendra, Malvika, Nirupama, Roshni and Shailaja – are seated about a circular table at equal distances from one another, and every one of the seven is facing away from the centre of the table. Each of them belongs to a different one of the following cities, namely Anantapur, Bharuch, Bilaspur, Kakinada, Sambalpur, Tirupati and Warangal. Since all the seven face away from the centre, the seat that lies next in the clockwise sense from any one of them is the seat upon that person's right hand, and the seat that lies next in the anti-clockwise sense is the seat upon that person's left hand. (i) Bhairavi sits second to the right of Aniruddh. (ii) Gyanendra sits third to the right of Bhairavi. (iii) Malvika sits immediately to the left of Gyanendra. (iv) Nirupama sits third to the left of Malvika. (v) Roshni sits second to the left of Nirupama. (vi) Aniruddh belongs to Bilaspur. (vii) The one who belongs to Kakinada sits third to the left of the one who belongs to Bilaspur. (viii) The one who belongs to Warangal sits immediately to the right of the one who belongs to Kakinada. (ix) The one who belongs to Sambalpur sits immediately to the right of the one who belongs to Warangal. (x) Bhairavi belongs to Tirupati.
