E373 Directions (Q50–Q54) : A branch of a bank gave a farewell lunch to its outgoing chief manager, at which eight of the staff were seated along one side of a long table and a different sweet was set before each of them by the caterer. Study the following information with care and then answer the questions that follow. Eight persons – Aakriti, Bhuvan, Chitrangada, Dhanashree, Eshwar, Gagandeep, Harshvardhan and Ivleen – are seated in a single straight row at equal distances from one another, and every one of the eight is facing towards the north. Each of them has been served a different one of the following desserts, namely barfi, halwa, jalebi, kheer, laddu, phirni, rasgulla and sandesh. Since all the eight face towards the north, the seat that lies to the east of any one of them is the seat upon that person's right hand and the seat that lies to the west of any one of them is the seat upon that person's left hand.
