Box Puzzle
Using the provided statements in the order given below: A is kept three boxes above B. Only two boxes are kept between A and N and No box is kept between N and K, also Box number of K is three times of Box number of E (that means Box number of K has to be a multiple of 3) (With this we have 4 possible cases given below) For Case – 1: Box number of K is 6 i.e. three times the Box number of E. So Box number of E is 2. For Case – 2: Box number of K is 9 i.e. three times the Box number of E. So Box number of E is 3. For Case – 3: K cannot be placed near N, as K’s box number has to be a multiple of 3. (Case -3 gets cancelled) For Case – 4: Box number of K is 9 i.e. three times the Box number of E. So Box number of E is 3. L is kept three boxes above C. Number of boxes kept below C is three less than the number of boxes kept above O and O is not the bottommost box. At least two boxes are kept between M and L (this statement cancels Case – 1) and D is kept above M. (and this cancels Case – 2).
