  3. C225
  4. D324
  5. ENone of these

Answer: B. 156.25

Explanation

Let side of 4 squares be a, b, c and d cm respectively. => a = 32/4 = 8 cm => b = 48/4 = 12 cm => c = 56/4 = 14 cm => c = 64/4 = 16 cm Perimeter of new square = a + b + c + d = 50 => side = 50/4 = 12.5 cm Required area = side2 = (12.5)2 = 156.25 cm2 .
