Explanation

Average number of students enrolled in course ‘Information Technology’ = (120 + 112 + 124 + 135 + 118 + 128)/6 = 737/6. Average number of students enrolled in course ‘Civil’ = (140 + 152 + 158 + 166 + 170 + 175)/6= 961/6. Hence, required difference = 961/6 - 737/6 = (961 - 737)/6 = 224/6 = 37(1/3)
