Number of students of school B who passed the exam = 180. Percent of students of school B who did not pass the exam = 10% ⇒ Percent of students of school B who pass the exam = 90% ⇒ 90% students of school B = 180 ⇒ Total students in school B = 200. ⇒ Total students in both the schools = 450. ∴ 450 students appeared in the exam from both the schools.
