Directions (1-2): In each question three statements followed by three conclusions numbered I, II and III have been given. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance with commonly known facts and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements. 2). Statements: No bowl is a cover. All bottles are caps. Some caps are covers. Conclusions: I.At least some bottles arc covers. II.All caps are bowls. III.No cover is a bowl.

Answer: C. Only III follows

Explanation

All bottle are caps (A) + Some caps are covers (I) = A + I = No conclusions. Hence conclusion I does not follow. Again, Some caps are covers (I) + (No bowl is a cover (E) conversion No cover is a bowl (E)) = I + E = O = Some caps are not bowls. Hence conclusion II does not follow. But conclusion III follows.
