CGPSC 2011 · Question 58 of 146

A, Q, Y, Z are different persons. Z is the father of Q, A is the daughter of Y and Y is the son of Z. If P is the son of Y and B is the brother of P, then

Blood Relations

  1. AB and Y are brothers
  2. BA is the sister of BCorrect
  3. CZ is the uncle of B
  4. DQ and Y are brothers

Answer: B. A is the sister of B

Explanation

Y is Z's son; A is Y's daughter and P is Y's son; B is P's brother, hence also Y's son — so A and B are siblings, making A the sister of B.
